LAHORE: The court has issued a written decision to grant bail in two cases of Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Khadija Shah.
According to the details, a 2-member bench of Lahore High Court headed by Justice Alia Neelam issued a decision in which remarks were made that Khadija Shah made a controversial tweet which was later deleted and apologized while the state is like a mother.
The High Court remarked in its judgment that the citizen should be given a chance to apologize. The 2-member bench said that the job of the courts is to protect the rights of the citizens. The prosecution could not produce evidence against Khadija Shah for setting fire to Jinnah House.

The court remarked that Khadija Shah has been arrested since May 25 and the trial of the cases has not yet started. Lahore High Court approves Khadija Shah’s bail, while further investigation is required due to contradictions in the statements of the witnesses in the Askari Tower case.
