Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra, who was involved in the infamous pornographic scandal in 2021, has turned that episode of his life into a movie titled UT 69, where he is playing himself.
The trailer of the same was released which is ‘based on a true story’, seems to be Kundra’s recollection of his time in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail where he is frequently asked about his movie star wife Shilpa Shetty and has to live without a toothbrush.
The movie’s trailer puts the businessman turned actor at the centre of everything and stresses that this is his ‘karmic debt’. The trailer for UT69 was out featuring Raj Kundra in the lead role, based on his life.

The teaser also depicts the surprising friendships Raj makes while he is imprisoned. The upcoming film of Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra, ‘UT69’ will hit the theatres on November 3.
Kundra has been walking around wearing a mask on his face ever since he was released from jail in 2021. Kundra was arrested in July 2021 on suspicion of making pornographic recordings, and in September of that same year, he was given bail.
He was charged with violating pertinent provisions of the Information Technology Act, the Indecent Representation of Women (Prevention Act), and the Indian Penal Code.
