Karachi likely to receive rain on Oct 16, 17

The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted rain in Karachi in the upcoming week beginning from October 16 and said the other parts of the country are also expected to receive downpours from today (Saturday).

The National Weather Forecasting Centre said that the downpour and drizzling are anticipated in Karachi on October 16 and 17. However, the winds from the west will enter the city soon and spread throughout the province.

However, the mercury is expected to touch 35 Celcius on Saturday.

The Met Office also expressed the possibility of rain and thunderstorms in Sukkur, Larkana, Jaccobabad, and other cities of the province.

Meanwhile, the weather will remain cloudy in the federal capital but light rain is expected in some parts of the city.
