Marvel Studios’ upcoming movie ‘The Marvels’ is all set to hit theatres next month.
The much-anticipated superhero film, which is set to release on November 10, will be released in Korea two days earlier.
As per Walt Disney Company Korea, the movie will be released locally in South Korea on November 8, revealing the main poster and the final trailer.
Serving as a sequel to the 2019 movie ‘Captain Marvel’, the upcoming film brings together three iconic female characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau.
The 2019 action sci-fi movie followed former Air Force pilot Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), who becomes one of the most powerful heroes in the universe. Caught in a war between two alien races, she uses her superpowers as Captain Marvel to uncover the truth behind her power and find her true allies.

Now the sequel will pick up after Captain Marvel defeats her former comrades and takes revenge to reclaim her identity. The anticipated follow-up takes place after the Disney+ series ‘Ms. Marvel’, which introduced Vellani as Kamala Khan, a.k.a. the young, New Jersey superhero Ms. Marvel.
As per the official ‘The Marvels’ synopsis from Marvel Studios, ‘Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. However, unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.’
The film created a huge buzz in Korea during its production when the studio confirmed that actor Park Seo-Joon was in the cast. Known for his roles in hit Korean series like “Itaewon Class,” Park will make his Hollywood debut in “The Marvels” as he is set to play Prince Yan, Carol Danvers’ husband and ally, further amplifying anticipation for the film.
