PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Chief Akhtar Hayat Khan has said that Afghan citizens were involved in most of the suicide attacks and the recent major suicide attacks were also carried out by Afghan terrorists.
According to the details, while talking to the media, IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Akhtar Hayat Khan said that most of the acts of terrorism were carried out by Afghan citizens. Afghans were involved in major operations. “Peshawar Police Line and Hangu Mosque suicide attacks were also carried out by Afghans,” Khan maintained.
During the conversation, IG Akhtar Hayat Khan said that Afghan suicide bombers were also involved in the Ali Masjid and Bajaur attacks. “Around 75 percent of suicide attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were carried out by Afghan citizens, which was revealed by the fingerprints of the attackers, while Afghans are also involved in other crimes,” Khan added.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that local and Afghan extremists have been arrested for the crime of extortion. “This year, 76 cases of extortion were reported, 49 cases were traced. The extortion calls of the big businessman of Peshawar have also been traced,” he said.
He said that we arrested extortionists in Mohmand, Bajaur, and Chitral as well. “Extortionists have also been caught by local contractors in southern districts. Extortion calls have been reduced due to the efficiency of KPK police,” he added.
