ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s currency has performed best in the month of September, outperforming currencies around the world.
The crackdown on illegal dollar trade, smuggling, betting, administrative measures, and reforms by the State Bank started showing positive results.
In the month of September, the performance of the Pakistani currency was the best and the rupee outperformed the currencies of the world.
According to the report of the international organization, the Pakistani currency has improved by 6.2 percent against the dollar in a month. In September, the Pakistani rupee was the number one currency in the world.
It should be remembered that due to the government’s actions, the US dollar has fallen by more than Rs 17 from its highest value after the last 20 days.
On the other hand, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has expressed satisfaction with the performance of the FBR in collecting revenue beyond the target.
