KARACHI: Cricket kit bags were distributed among 60 youngsters of the Rashid Latif Cricket Academy under the “Supporting Future Stars programme.”
USA Consulate Officer Anna Maria was the special guest on the occasion at the event held in Karachi.
Cricket kit bags were distributed amongst 60 young players of the Rashid Latif Cricket Academy under the programme, “Supporting Future Stars” by Medical Center Texas, the sponsors of the USA cricket team to participate in the Over 40 World Event.
On the occasion, Anna Maria, Public Diplomacy Officer of the USA Consulate, expressed her interest in the game of cricket. The chief guest also appreciated the sponsors’ generous efforts for youngsters.
Former captain Rashid Latif, through a video message, thanked the sponsors and the USA cricket team.
USA over-40 team captain Muhammad Farrukh, player Jan Nisar Khan, Pakistan Veteran Cricket Association Chairman Fawad Ijaz Khan and others also addressed the ceremony.
