A five-member gang of female kidnappers has instilled fear in the hearts of people in Mardan.
In the latest incident, the gang kidnapped a sixth-class female student in Iranabad area of the city.
In the CCTV footage, women can be seen holding the hand of the child and taking her along with them.
The victim, who had left her home for school at 7:00 in the morning, was whisked away by members of the gang.
Two days ago, too, the gang had tried to kidnap a seventh-class student from daily mohallah. And when the latter offered resistance, they hurt her with a blade.
Panic and fear grip the area as parents are worried about the safety of their girls.
Police have registered a case against unidentified persons on the complaint of the girl’s father Wajid Gul.
