Rawalpindi: Saddam Khan, the childhood friend of the vice-captain of the national cricket team, Shadab Khan, shared a few memories from the past with MM News.
MM News asked Saddam Khan, “Shadab Khan is such a famous cricketer, and he is his close friend. What does he have to say about this?
Saddam Khan responded, “I thank Allah Almighty for blessing him with a good livelihood through cricket. I never feel ashamed that I work as a laborer, and Shadab Khan is such a renowned cricketer.”
Saddam Khan went on to say, “I often communicate with Shadab on WhatsApp, and I frequently inquire about his well-being. However, due to his busy schedule as a prominent cricketer, we don’t talk much. But whenever we do, he is a great conversationalist, a very good and humble person.”
He shared, “Since it became known that he is a friend of Shadab Khan, it had a significant impact on his business. “My merchandise sells very quickly, and people show a lot of respect,” he maintained.
Saddam Khan mentioned that Shadab Khan had a deep interest in sports from childhood, and they used to eat and drink together. He remembers those times, but Shadab Khan was more focused on cricket, so he has achieved this position in cricket today.
