ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar Ul Haq Kakar has called the first meeting of the cabinet today after taking the oath of the federal cabinet. The first meeting of the caretaker cabinet will be held on Friday at 11 am.
After the departure of Shahbaz Sharif’s government, the caretaker cabinet took oath yesterday August 17, after which caretaker prime minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has called the first meeting today.
Anwar Haq Kakar will preside over the cabinet meeting, in which the country’s economic and law and order situation will be reviewed.
Yesterday, President Arif Alvi took the oath of the cabinet in a ceremony held in the President’s House. Shamshad Akhtar, Ahmed Irfan Aslam, Shahid Ashraf Tarar, and Sarfraz Bugti are among those who took the oath.
Apart from this, Dr. Gohra Ijaz, Muhammad Ali, and Aneeq Ahmed also took the oath. The caretaker cabinet also includes Jalil Abbas Jilani, Jamal Shah, Syed Anwar Ali Haider and Murtaza Solangi.
Dr. Nadeem Jan, Madad Ali, Khalil George, and Muhammad Sami Saeed are also included in Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar’s cabinet.
Air Marshal (retd) Farhat Hussain, Ahad Khan Cheema, Waqar Masood Khan, Mashaal Hussain Malik, Jawad Sohrab Malik, Vice Admiral (retd) Iftikhar Rao, Wasi Shah, Dr. Jahanzeb Khan and Syeda Arifa Zahra are also part of the caretaker cabinet.
