RAWALPINDI: DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif said in a press conference at the General Headquarters (GHQ) that the investigations so far have found much evidence regarding the May 9 mayhem. Â
DG ISPR said that the planning of the May 9 tragedy was being planned for several months, and the relatives of the martyrs are questioning when the planners of May 9 will be brought to justice.
He said that the tragedy of May 9 is a dark chapter in the history of Pakistan. “Lies were spread on social media for this conspiracy,” he said.

“All the ranks of the Army are raising the question that when the memorials of our martyrs are being desecrated in this way, ‘why do we need to sacrifice our lives?’,” he said.
“Pakistan forces are shouldering the funerals of great martyrs day by day, terrorists are being suppressed on a daily basis,” he said.
“Poisonous propaganda is being done against Pakistan Army, The army is making countless sacrifices for the people of the country,” he maintained.
