ISTANBUL: Turkish police have arrested 120 suspects in a major crackdown on people involved in the trading of digital currency crypto.
Turkey’s new interior minister, Ali Yerlikaya, announced on Twitter that police have arrested 120 suspects for dealing in cryptocurrency.

According to the Twitter post, police checked more than 4,000 bank accounts, during which a total of 1.2 billion Turkish currency (US$51 million) was found to have been transferred. The interior minister said that the police arrested 120 suspects covering 37 provinces simultaneously.
