‘Aar Paar’: Trailer of Pakistan’s first multiple award-winning movie rolls out

MM News Staff by MM News Staff
June 12, 2023

The trailer of the suspense and drama-packed, multiple-award-winning Pakistani film ‘Aar Paar’ that is sure to win the heart of every progressive woman, has been released in cinemas today, offering a tantalizing glimpse into a world where friendship has no boundaries and courage has no gender.

Produced by Kalakar Entertainments and directed by the talented Saleem Daad, the film promises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience. With a story and screenplay by the internationally acclaimed writer Mashood Qadri whose Saawan has received over ten awards and was nominated for the Oscars by Pakistan’s Oscar Committee, it is not surprising that his second venture has also been critically acclaimed and bagged awards in the festivals circuit.

This time around, as obvious from the riveting trailer, Qadri has skillfully blended masala with thought-provoking content to appeal to both the gentry and the masses. Together with the expertise of Saleem Daad — his exceptional cinematography has been evident in blockbuster films like Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, SherDil, BaluMahi, Mehrunisa We Lub U, and Chakker – who has once again proven his prowess in capturing the essence of emotions on the silver screen, Aar Paar is set to entice audiences over Eid ul Azha.

In Aar Paar Qadri weaves an intricate web of love for friends, women’s empowerment and consequences of choices made in the face of adversity. Set against a backdrop of pulsating city life across borders, the movie follows the entangled lives of two families, portrayed by remarkable talents like Moammar Rana, Irum Akhtar, Ukasha Gul and Shamyl Khan.

“Through Aar Paar we aim to take the audience on an exhilarating ride filled with unexpected twists and turns,” said director Saleem Daad. The film explores the complex dynamics of relationships and the choices we make when faced with difficult situations. I believe the audience will be captivated by the performances, and engrossed in the gripping narrative.”

Aar Paar is slated to be released on Eid-ul-Azha 2023. Judging by the trailer, movie enthusiasts can expect an enthralling cinematic experience and storyline that will leave them eagerly awaiting the film’s release.
