ISLAMABAD: Former Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin has said that the PDM government has brought the country’s economy to the verge of default.
According to the details, in one of his statements, the former finance minister in a statement said that the country is facing the worst economic crisis due to the failure of the PDM government.
Shaukat Tarin said that 8 million people became unemployed in a year. The growth rate decreased from 6 percent to 0.3 percent. “Ishaq Dar is hiding his failures,” he maintained.
Tarin said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar prefers to tell stories instead of talking about the economy to hide his failures. According to the former minister, PDM has brought the economy to the verge of default.

It should be noted that even earlier, Shaukat Tarin demanded the resignation of Ishaq Dar, saying that due to Dar’s economic policies, Pakistan has reached the brink of default.
In a statement issued in response to the Finance Minister’s press conference 5 months ago, Senator Tarin denied Senator Ishaq Dar’s claims regarding the state of the economy.
