The first digital census has started across Pakistan. In the first phase, a digital census will be held in major parts of the country including Karachi from March 1 to March 15, in which people will be able to register their family details through mobile phones.
According to the concerned department, the census results will be released after exactly one month. In the first phase, digital census is going on in Karachi with full swing. Below are the pictures of the first digital census of Pakistan.
The Chief Statistician said on the occasion of the inauguration that all the provinces have been taken on board regarding the census.
On January 13, 2022, the Council of Common Interests ordered a digital census.
According to the Chief Statistician, a staff of 115,000 people will conduct the census, which will help in geo-tagging and economic enumeration, and better planning.
