Pakistan all-rounder Nida Dar has equaled the world record for most wickets in T20 cricket during the match against the West Indies in a Women’s T20 World Cup match at Paarl’s Boland Park.
Dar took two for 13 in four overs of accurate off-spin to equal former West Indies player Anisa Mohammed’s record of 125 wickets in women’s T20 internationals.
Nida Dar, a right-arm off-break bowler, now has 125 wickets to her credit in her T20I career.
The 36-year-old has surpassed Australian stars Megan Schutt and Ellyse Perry as they have 122 wickets each to their name.
