Freeware and instant messaging platform WhatsApp in a bid to provide users better experience trying to introduce a new feature that will allow users to retain the quality of images.
To conserve space and bandwidth, WhatsApp previously compressed photos automatically. An image is automatically compressed when shared on WhatsApp, which reduces the image’s quality and features.

Selecting the “settings” symbol in the drawing tool header on the most recent WhatsApp beta allows one to send a high-quality image. When pressed, users can select the image quality they’re sending, with the option to share it in its original quality.
It is quite helpful as it eliminates the need for WhatsApp users to attach high-quality photographs using the ‘Document’ option, which does not provide a preview of the image attached.
