SIBBI: Several people were reported injured as a result of blast that took place on railway track near Sibi, Balochistan, derailing at least eight wagons.

The terror incident took place within days after a gas pipeline was blown up in Bolan’s Sirajabad, and a cross border attack from Iran in which 4 security personnel were martyred.
Initial reports gathered by MM News from local administration and other sources revealed that a powerful blast took place on the railway tracks in Bolan’s Pinir area.
Jaffar Express, which was going from Quetta to Peshawar, reportedly hit by the blast and 8 wagons of it were derailed as a result of which several people were injured.
Sources from local administration confirmed to MM News that all DCs and ACs of nearest districts had been directed to send ambulances and levies teams urgently.
According to DC Kharan, 8 wagons toppled as a result of the blast, and rescue operation was about to begin as teams were on their way. He said the said area of incident was situated at a hill and there was no way for vehicles to move and get to the site therefore, rescue teams were facing difficulties to carry out their operations.
