LAHORE: Lahore and several parts across Punjab were jolted by a 4.3-magnitude earthquake on Wednesday.
According to initial reports gathered by MM News, the epicentre of the quake was located near Sheikhupura.
The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, said officials.
Tremors were felt in various parts of Punjab including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Farooqabad, Sharqpur and Jaranwala.
People turned to social media to report the earthquake and wished safety to everyone.

Panic arose among citizens due to the jolts, prompting them to quickly vacate their homes and offices and stand under the open skies to wait out the episode.
Initially, no casualties have been reported till the filing of this report.
