LONDON: Tasneem Haider, who claims to be spokesperson for PMLN London for several years, has said that after his revelations about the conspiracy to assassinate prominent journalist Arshad Sharif and Chairman PTI Imran Khan, Pakistan Muslim League N stands finished and its leaders will not only admit their crimes but will be arrested within a week or two.

Tanseem Haider appeared before media on Sunday had made startling disclosures as to how he attended meetings where plots to kill Imran Khan and Arshad Sharif were discussed.

“I had three meetings with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif at Hasan Nawaz’s office,” Tasneem Haider claimed, adding that he’s associated with the PML-N for the last 20 years.

“I was summoned for the meeting to prepare a plot to assassinate Imran Khan and Arshad Sharif.” He alleged.

Talking to private TV channel on Monday, Tasneem Haider alleged that he was 200% sure that “the killers of journalist Arshad Sharif were Maryam Nawaz, Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and these all (PMLN leaders).”

When specifically asked about presence of Maryam Nawaz in that meeting, he said Maryam Nawaz wasns’t present on that occasion but Nawaz Sharif had said that he would move ahead with this plan (of assassination) as soon as Maryam reached there (in London).

He said on Nasir Butt had come to us saying he talked to Mian (Nawaz Sharif) Sahib on October 12 and Maryam Nawaz, and according to Butt, he [Nawaz Sharif] passed strict orders to execute plan of Arshad Sharif’s assassination.

He further said that these (alleged killers) would not only be arrested, but the masses would see them soon behind bars, adding that these developments (of arrests) would take place within a week or two.

He said even on Eid day, Nawaz Sharif was with other workers when he agreed to Anjum Chaudhry about assassinating Arshad Sharif being the only option left before them.

When asked about notification of his appointment as PMLN’s spokesperson, he said he would find it and produce before media as he was not aware of the need for such a scenario. He said his party leadership was very comfortable with his skills of communicating with media due to his education since, according to him, neither Nasir Butt nor any other leader was as much educated and qualified as him.

Tasneem Haider, when asked about an FIR, copy of which is viral on social media, said that was a fake FIR which was registered by Chaudhry Wajahat, adding that for the sake of gaining power, chaudhry brothers could align with anyone as shown in their 8 years long history.
