Quetta: A jawan of Anti-Terror Force (ATF) lost life in a hand grenade attack on police station in Balochistan’s Dera Murad Jamali district, some 270 Km from Quetta.
Reports gathered by MM News revealed that the incident took place at Dhadhar area of Dera Murad Jamali district, where terrorists lobbed a grenade on a police station, resulting in the explosion.
A Jawan of Anti-Terro Force (ATF), identified as Commando Abid Hussain Solangi, lost life in the blast while the accused managed to flee from the area.
Police said the martyred Jawan of ATF was a resident of Bhag City. Police and security forces rushed to the spot and kicked off a cordon and search operation in the area.
Balochistan has witnessed a surge of terror attacks over the last few months.
Just yesterday, a police officer was killed during an attack on a polio team in Pishin, some 700 km from provincial capital Quetta.
