QUETTA: The Counter Terror Department (CTD) of Balochistan conducted an intelligence based operation in Zareen Jungle area of Kharan district of Balochistan, killing at least 4 suspected terrorists.
Officials said the Counter-Terrorism Department acted on the tip-off of an intelligence agency raided Zareen Jungle area where an encounter broke out

During the exchange of fire which last for at least six hours, four suspected terrorists of a banned outfit were killed. Officials said two of those killed in the encounter were involved in the attacks on Nushki FC camp last year.

A large cache of lethal weapons, ammunition and explosives was also recovered from the terrorists.
Officials claimed that the terrorists were planning to attack security forces and leading personalities.
The group was also involved in target killing of police and citizens in Kharan.
