CHRISTCHURCH: Pakistan Cricket team’s captain Babar Azam on Thursday said tri-series featuring New Zealand and Bangladesh would assist Pakistan’s preparation of T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in Australia in mid-October.
“No team is easy in T20 International cricket,” Babar said “New Zealand’s team has proved to be a tough opponent in home conditions.”
Babar stated that here the conditions are quite similar to Australia. So, it would help us prepare better before playing the T20 World Cup on bouncy Aussie pitches.
“Against England, we tried different combinations, so we could gauge our strengths and weaknesses.” Babar added.
