ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ( PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is holding the telethon transmission to raise funds for flood affectees, while a Pakistan-born US citizen has announced a donation of Rs.22 million for the affectees.

Speaking during Live Telethon, the PTI chief said entire Pakistan had been affected by the floods generated by back-to-back monsoon rains. He said more than 1000 people died due to devastating floods and the damages are expected to cross Rs1,000 billion.
He said that this time the country is facing a big trial, the whole country is affected due to floods, that’s why we have decided that the entire Pakistan should face this difficult time jointly.
He said that by constructing dams we can deal with the flood situation.PTI Chairman said that we as a nation have to help our flood affectees brothers.
He said that they were building a control room through which they would guide and give direction to the party volunteers so that the volunteers could reach the affected people and provide relief to them.
