A gang has been arrested for changing the expiry dates of food items in Peshawar.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, it was discovered that the expiry dates of the food items had been changed, in which the gang involved had been arrested.
According to the police, on the identification of the accused, a raid was conducted in the warehouse on Dalazak road, from where expired items of international brands have been recovered.

The deputy commissioner said that the gang used to collect expired items from across the city and then change the dates of those items.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the gang used to supply the items again in the market after changing the expiry date. The Deputy Commissioner said in this regard that the expired items sold by changing the date include chocolate, bubble gum, chips, coffee, dry milk, and other items.
