The flood victims are waiting for government assistance in the hope that clean water will be available to them. The residents of Marple village located in the remote hilly area of Qila Saifullah district of Balochistan have been under siege for a week and the roads have not been restored yet.
The victims are demanding the government and local administration provide food items, drinking water, and open roads. According to NDM, more than 15,000 houses have been damaged in Balochistan due to rains and floods, while 16 bridges have been broken in different places.
More than 23, 000 cattle were killed and crops standing on 200,000 lakh acres of land were also damaged. On the other hand, rain is continuing in different cities of Balochistan province, while many areas have been flooded due to rain. PDMA has issued a flood warning in East Balochistan from tonight.
