A tragic incident has taken place in Rawalpindi when a son tried to kill his parents by setting them on fire.
According to details, the incident took place in the Ashraf Colony area of Dhamial Police Station of Rawalpindi, where a son set fire to his parents in a domestic dispute, which worsened their condition.
The victim’s parents were rushed to a hospital where doctors tried their best to save his life but his mother succumbed to her injuries on the spot while her father is still in the hospital.
It is to be noted that the police have registered a case of this tragic incident in Dhamial police station in the case of the second son.
In the case registered at Dhamial police station, the plaintiff said that he was in a room on the upper floor of the house while their father Shabbir Ahmed, mother Rifat Bibi, and elder brother Muhammad Waseem who had a quarrel with their parents were on the ground floor and that’s when heard violent voices.
The plaintiff told the police that when he heard the noise from below, the elder brother saw him and ran away. When he reached the room, his parents were burning in the fire.
According to the text of the case, after hearing the voices of the parents, the residents of the neighborhood entered the house and tried to put out the fire with the help of beds. At the same time, they informed Rescue 1122 about the incident.
Another Mr. SHO Dhamyal police station said that he had obtained a 4-day remand by presenting his illegitimate son Wasim in court while murder provisions have also been included in the case.
