‘Birkin bags and expensive eye shades’: Fawad takes a dig at Hina Rabbani Khar

ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry took to social media and criticised Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar and other members of the cabinet who took oath today.

“When you appoint a low IQ women whose only claim to fame is her Berkin bags and expensive eye shades such blunders ll become a norm, hope ll get rid of this lot sooner than later,” the former information minister in a tweet.

The former minister said its federal cabinet of prime minister Shehbaz Sharif has 34 members out of which 24 are out on bail on various criminal charges, adding that it looks the attendance registry of a prison.

“Twenty-four members of the cabinet, including the prime minister, have been released on bail. The new cabinet sends a clearer message to the world whether the IG prisons had taken the oath instead of the chairman senate. Only Kalbushan Yadav remained in jail, the rest have become ministers,”

After much anticipation and delays, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s 34-member cabinet was sworn at an oath-taking ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr. Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has administered the oath after President Alvi excused himself. Thirty-one federal ministers, three ministers of state and three advisers took oath of office.
