ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has been ordered to open its doors at 12:00 am midnight on the issue of voting on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Private TV Channel has claimed quoting sources that the doors of the court have been ordered to be opened at 12 o’clock at night to implement the decision of the Supreme Court. The court staff has also been directed to reach the Supreme Court.
It may be recalled that the Supreme Court had declared on April 3 the rolling of the Deputy Speaker unconstitutional and restored the National Assembly and Cabinet.
The court had ruled that the no-confidence motion should be voted on Saturday in any case, but so far this order has not been implemented by the government.
It is pertinent to mention here that the National Assembly meeting is underway since 10:30 am today, but so far the government is trying to stop voting on the no-trust move by different tactics.
