ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president and daughter of former premier Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz said on Wednesday that the politicians should learn from the end of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
She said expressed these views in a short statement on the social networking website Twitter.
It may be recalled that MQM Pakistan, an ally of the PTI government, had announced its support to the opposition in the no-confidence motion and two of its ministers had also resigned from their roles today.
After the MQM-P announcement, PM Imran Khan has lost the majority in the National Assembly and the opposition has gained the support of required MNAs for passing the no-trust move against Imran Khan even without the help of dissidents PTI MNAs.
It is pertinent to mention here that more than 12 PTI MNAs have defected to joint opposition after tabling a no-trust motion against PM Imran Khan. On Monday the no-trust motion was formally tabled in the National Assembly and voting on it is likely this weak.
