ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly member Javeria Zafar has escaped an accident and nearly skipped a gunshot shot by her husband in Parliament.
PTI MNA and Parliamentary Secretary Overseas Pakistanis Javeria Zafar has registered a case against her husband for firing in Parliament Lodges at the Women Police Station in Islamabad.
“I got married to Haider Baloch six months ago. My husband had a minor quarrel,” said Zafar, a female MP. “I told him that I will go to go to court and get divorced. My husband threatened to kill me and my family,” she added. She said that the accused pulled a pistol on his head and fired at the Parliament but she ran away and laid it on the firewall, she maintained.
