ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary Secretary Malika Bukhari has announced that the state itself will follow the case of Noor Mukadam and Usman Mirza.
In her statement, Parliamentary Secretary Malika Bukhari also announced to appear before the court in the Usman Mirza case saying that the Prime Minister has issued special instructions to the Law Ministry.
The Parliamentary Secretary said that every case of violence and sexual violence against women and children would be pursued. She said that both the plaintiffs in Usman Mirza case have deviated from their old statement, video and forensic evidence was presented in court.
Bukhari said that every such evidence will be brought to light which will convict the accused, I will try to present my position and evidence before the court.

She said that especially women must bring their cases to the court, the state stands by them. Malika Bukhari took the position that data on cases of violence against women has been sought.
The Parliamentary Secretary said that efforts would be made to ensure that questions from Zahir Jaffer’s lawyer in the Noor Mukadam case on the role of the victim were not part of the record.
