KARACHI: At least four more people have died of the global coronavirus in Pakistan, bringing the total number of deaths to 28,898.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 322 more coronavirus cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours. The total number of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 12 lakh 92 thousand 728.
According to the NCOC, 47,811 coronavirus tests were performed across the country in the last 24 hours and a positive case rate of 0.6 was recorded. The number of cases of coronavirus in Sindh is 480,077, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 181,121, in Punjab 444,438, in Islamabad 18,392, in Balochistan 33,617, in Azad Kashmir 34,654 and Gilgit-Baltistan has reached 10,429.

The highest number of deaths due to coronavirus was in Punjab where 13,062 people lost their lives while 7,658 in Sindh, 5,919 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 964 in Islamabad, 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 363 in Balochistan, and 746 in Azad Kashmir have lost their lives.
