ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held today in which a briefing on the Sialkot incident will be given.
According to details, the prime minister will preside over the federal cabinet meeting during which the political, economic, and law and order situation of the country will be reviewed. Home Ministry officials will give a briefing on the Sialkot tragedy.
A meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by PM Khan will be briefed on the progress in the action against the culprits responsible for the Sialkot tragedy. Cabinet members will convey their views to bring the accused of the Sialkot incident to justice.
Federal cabinet members will also be briefed on the bravery of Malik Adnan, who tried his best to save Sri Lankan national Priyantha Kumara. Opposition alliance PDM’s long march and nationwide protest strategy will be discussed.

A total of 17-point agenda will be considered in the federal cabinet meeting. Cabinet members will be given weekly briefings on the country’s economic indicators. Decisions will be made to fill the vacancies of CEOs and MDs in ministries and agencies.
Providing land and air routes from Pakistan to third countries for Afghans, approval of visa procedures for international NGOs, ratification of the appointment of CEOs of Gepco and Tesco are also on the agenda of the federal cabinet meeting.
