KARACHI: North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI) President Faisal Moeez Khan and Vice President Naeem Haider welcomed the Bin Qasim Power Station three project for uninterrupted supply of electricity to domestic, commercial, and industrial consumers by Karachi Electric as it is very welcome for industrial production activities.
In a statement, he said that energy is the basic raw material in crushing industries without which the production process is impossible. Therefore, Electric’s claim of uninterrupted power supply to Karachi consumers especially industries is really welcome.
He said that an uninterrupted supply of electricity to the industries would not only boost the industries but also have a positive impact on the economy and create more employment opportunities. In this regard, K Electric CEO Mons Alvi, Chief Distribution Officer Amir Zia, and the entire team are grateful for their efforts to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
The NICAT leaders further said that the move would definitely reduce the production cost of the industries, especially the cost of generating electricity to the industries through generators.
He said that industrialists would prefer KE instead of relying on generators but KE would also have to reduce the cost of electricity which would also help in reducing the burden on consumers.
