One of the best comedians of Pakistan, Tabish Hashmi, has opened up about how the death of his father affected him.
Tabish Hashmi recently appeared in an interview where he talked about content: how he chose to perform in front of an audience, how he overcame the stuttering habits, and how the audience was more accepting in earlier days as compared to nowadays.
While talking about the Pakistani content, he said that we mixed up a lot of things, unlike public speech, they tell rules about the competition. In comedy and creating content, there is no rule given but still, people face a lot of restrictions, Hashmi highlighted.
While telling about how and he used to choose tactics of performing in front of an audience, Hashmi asserted that he used to start hosting or any of his acts with dark comedy and people used to enjoy that allowed.
While discussing his father’s death, Hashmi said that it affected his entire life. According to Hashmi, he was very upset after his father’s death. “He was a cancer patient and living with a cancer patient itself is a painful journey,” Tabish asserted.
Tabish Hashmi while recalling that how the audience was more accepting in earlier days as compared to nowadays. For Hashmi, everyone takes everything personally and the lighter content is somehow misjudged.

“I had a strong association with my father. I was the first one who got to know that my father is diagnosed with cancer,” Hashmi maintained. “I could not pursue my career as a comedian for four years after my father’s death. Honestly speaking at that moment I thought that I can’t do this anymore,” Tabish Hashmi was quoted as saying.
