Hollywood star Tom Cruise has been reportedly robbed in London while shooting for his upcoming ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ movie.
A source told the publication: ‘Tom had been driven around in the car while in Birmingham and some of his luggage and belongings were inside it when it was taken. ‘It’s since been recovered by police because it was equipped with an electronic tracking device but everything inside it had gone. Thieves stole pounds, luggage and took his bodyguard’s £100,000 BMW.
According to international media, the thieves used a scanner to steal a car parked outside the Grand Hotel in Birmingham. The burglars managed to steal the car just minutes after leaving the hotel, which is just two minutes away from the West Midlands Police Headquarters.

It comes after Mission: Impossible 7 filming was reportedly paused again in June due to a positive Covid test with crew members speculating it could be the actor. Despite there being ‘no proof’ to back up the idle talk, it has been claimed that people are gossiping it could be Tom due to his alleged absence on set.
It is to be noted that Tom Cruise is currently shooting the movie Mission: Impossible 7 in Birmingham. The film is the seventh film in Tom Cruise’s action series ‘Mission Impossible’ and is scheduled to release in May 2022.
The sixth film in the series was released in 2018 and Tom Cruise himself was injured during several dangerous scenes during its shooting. The first film in the Mission Impossible series, Mission Impossible, came out in 1996.
