KARACHI: At least 95 more people have died in Pakistan due to the global coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths from corona in the country was 25,415.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 4,016 more people across the country have tested positive for the coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The total number of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 1,144,427.
According to the NCOC, the overall rate of positive cases across the country during the last 24 hours was 6.4 percent. 62,496 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
The worst affected provinces were Punjab and Sindh. In Punjab, 386,578 cases and 11,706 deaths were reported, while in Sindh, 427,037 people were affected and 6,766 died from coronavirus.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 159,483 people were affected and 4,884 died from coronavirus, while 32,014 cases and 338 deaths were reported in Balochistan. In Islamabad, 97,956 people were affected by coronavirus while 860 died.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, 9,795 people were affected and 172 killed. In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 31,478 cases and 689 deaths were reported. Across the country, the death rate from coronavirus was 2.2 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 3,235 patients across the country have contracted the virus, bringing the number of healthy people to 1,026,082 and the number of active cases to 92,844.
