KARACHI: around 65 more people have died in Pakistan due to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths due to coronavirus across the country has risen to 24,848.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 3,084 corona cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours. The total number of corona cases across the country has risen to 1,119,970.
According to the NCOC, 53,770 coronavirus tests were performed in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, the rate of corona positive cases was 5.73 percent.
During the last 24 hours, 53,770 tests were conducted for the diagnosis of Corona, bringing the total number of tests to 1,71,69,042. The worst affected provinces were Punjab and Sindh. In Punjab, 378,288 cases and 11,505 deaths were reported, while in Sindh, 418,478 people were affected and 6,566 died from the virus.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 155,712 people were affected and 4,750 died from corona, while 31,781 cases and 335 deaths were reported in Balochistan. In Islamabad, 95,709 people were affected by coronavirus while 848 died.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, 9,579 people were affected by a coronavirus and 169 died. In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 30,423 cases and 675 deaths were reported. Across the country, the death rate from Corona was 2.2 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 3,648 cases of the virus have infected covid across the country, bringing the number of healthy people to 1,06,078 and the number of active cases to 89,044.
