SONIPAT: Hateful and violent incidents against Muslims are becoming a daily routine in India. Militants vandalized another mosque and tortured worshipers. As a result of the incident, nine worshipers have been injured.
According to details, extremists armed with sticks in the state of Haryana, northern India, entered a mosque in the Sonipat area and vandalized and attacked worshippers. The police arrested 16 miscreants.
The reasons for the attack on the mosque in Sonipat are not clear. The police registered a case against 19 people. Nine injured people have been admitted to Sonipat Civil Hospital for medical assistance. Further investigation is underway.

Indian media say that Sonipat is an industrial area in which the attack against Muslims is being seriously investigated. After the incident, the law and order situation has been brought under control. The police commissioner says that the worshipers were attacked without provocation.
In a viral video on social media, extremist elements were seen walking around the village with sticks in their hands. The arrested persons belong to the same village. The police say they will not tolerate hooliganism. Strict action will be taken against extremists.
