KARACHI: Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Law Murtaza Wahab has confirmed that 130 more people have recovered from the coronavirus during the last 24 hours in Sindh.
While talking to media, the adviser said that as many as 253 patients have recovered from coronavirus so far. He appealed the citizens to follow the safety advices issued by the health authorities.
Wahab further said that lockdown was a difficult decision for the provincial government however, it was crucial to fight against coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier, Sindh Health Department had confirmed that the number of confirmed COVID-19 patients had reached to 932 in Sinh province.
The provincial health officials had said 51 more COVID-19 cases were reported across the province, taking the Sindh’s tally to 932 on Monday. As many as 17 people had lost their lives from the diseases till date.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan rose to 3,658 on Monday after new cases were reported in the country.
According to government data, 1,816 cases were registered in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 405, Balochistan 198, Gilgit-Baltistan 210, Islamabad 82 and Azad Kashmir 15.
