ISLAMABAD: The National Institute of Health (NIH) on Saturday reported one death and 156 new Covid-19 infections during the last 24 hours.

According to statistics issued by the National Institute of Health (NIH), a total of 17,200 Covid-19 diagnostic tests were conducted during the last 24 hours, out of which 156 came back positive, indicating the positivity ratio of 0.91%.
The institute registered 1 casualty during the period.
The NIH stated that 98 coronavirus patients were being treated in the Intensive Care Units (ICU) across the country at different medical facilities.
A total of over 1.5 million Covid-19 cases have so far been reported in Pakistan, while 30,601 people had died since the beginning of pandemic.
