LAHORE: A massive fire broke out at a shopping plaza in main boulevard Gulberg III on Lahore.
The fire has engulfed second, third and fourth floor of the plaza. After getting information, more than 20 rescue vehicles and over 50 fire fighters are at the scene to bring the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire and the cost of damages are still not known. The rescue officials said no human loss has been reported in the incident, while the fire has been put under control after hours of struggle. Currently the process of cooling was underway.

Separately, fire that erupted at an electronic factory was extinguished by the firefighters after a 14-hour long struggle.
A fire broke out at a local electronic plant on Multan Road, destroying machinery and raw materials worth millions of rupees. Due to the presence of incendiary/ignitable material on-site, the fire spread to other parts of the factory.
The fire was put brought under control by the Lahore firefighters and the process of cooling is currently underway.
Hearing the news of the fire Managing Director (MD) of the factory 60-year-old Sarfaraz, suffered a heart attack due to shock and lost his life.
