Robert De Niro makes his television debut with Zero Day, an ambitious Netflix thriller that quickly became a hit, climbing to the top of the platform’s most-watched list in its second week.

Alongside De Niro, the lineup includes Angela Bassett, Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Plemons, Joan Allen, Connie Britton, Matthew Modine, Dan Stevens, Bill Camp, Gaby Hoffmann, and Clark Gregg.

In Zero Day, De Niro takes on the role of former U.S. President George Mullen, who leads an investigation into a devastating cyberattack that has thrown the country into turmoil, leaving thousands dead.
As Mullen races to uncover those responsible and prevent another catastrophe, he navigates a treacherous landscape of misinformation, political power plays, and corporate influence. The show explores a chilling question: Is the real enemy an external threat, or does it come from within?
