Actress Shehzeen Rahat has recently reacted to actress Zara Noor Abbas’ rant on how Pakistani celebrities should not post eid outfits selfies if they had a genuine concern for Palestine.
Zara Noor Abbas was earlier unhappy with the attitude of the people who shared photos of their clothes on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and said that if one cannot talk about atrocities against Palestinians, then at least adopt simplicity.
The actress, without naming any person in her Instagram story, criticized the actors who shared their various photos during the three days of Eid-ul-Fitr. However, many criticised the actress and called her a hypocrite, one of them was Shehzeen Rahat.
The actress also took to her Instagram story and mentioned Zara’s stance on Palestine and celebrities posing in their Eid outfits and wrote that even the people living in Palestine celebrated eid in whatever possible way they could.
“If one is deeply in grief and saddened or feel helpless they should not be posting happy things or be a part of any celebration right? Then what was Zara Noor Abbas doing herself on Jeeto Pakistan’s Ramzan show when her own aunty (late actress Sumbul) was on a ventilator fighting for her life? Double standards much?”, said Shehzeen Rahat.
