A youth has been killed in an alleged fake police encounter in the Orangi Town area of Karachi and his entire family has demanded justice.
According to details, the police encounter in the Orangi Town area turned out to be fake. In this regard, DIG West said that the police officer who opened fire has been arrested. An inquiry committee was also formed to investigate the competition.
The police officer who opened fire was arrested with a private weapon. Investigative sources said that the policeman who opened fire during the alleged fake encounter was dressed in plain clothes. SHO Orangi police station has been suspended.

The family member of the young man who died in the encounter has called the police encounter fake and demanded justice. They said that the victim was shot dead on his way back from the coaching center. According to officials, the incident could be the result of personal enmity.
It may be recalled that earlier there was an exchange of fire between police and dacoits at Shahra-e-Noor Jahan, as a result of which two dacoits were killed on the spot. Shahrah Noor Jahan and New Karachi’s industrial area police conducted a joint operation against the dacoit gang.
Yesterday, the police surrounded the accused from all sides. The accused opened fire on the police indiscriminately. A passerby was also injured in the firing. Police returned fire, killing two dacoits on the spot and seriously injuring one.
