KARACHI – A young woman tragically lost her life after falling from the 25th floor of a residential building in Defence Phase 8, police confirmed.
According to SSP South, the incident occurred at a high-rise residential complex, and the body has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The deceased’s father gave a statement to police, saying that his daughter had been struggling with mental health issues and was undergoing treatment.
He stated that she had locked herself in her room before jumping from the balcony, suggesting it was a case of suicide.
Authorities have launched an investigation, but preliminary findings align with the family’s account. The police are treating the incident as non-criminal, pending further verification.
