A 28-year-old woman was brutally killed in Lahore and her slit-throat body was found on Sunday in her home.
As per details, a rescue 1122 team recovered the dead body of a woman whose throat was slit in the jurisdiction of Sanda Police Station.
Sources in Rescue 1122 said that the woman was already dead before they rushed to the spot. The deceased woman was later identified as Rida.
The police after taking her body into custody started a probe. Police sources said that they were investigating and would try to determine whether she was murdered for ‘honor’ or showing resistance in a robbery attempt or due to a domestic dispute.
Police also arrested several persons including the husband of the murdered woman. Police had obtained their initial statements. Later the dead body of the woman was shifted to a local mortuary.
