In Karachi’s Orangi Town, robbers opened fire during a robbery attempt when faced with resistance, seriously injuring a young man who later died due to allegedly not receiving medical aid at the hospital.
According to details, during a robbery attempt at a juice center near Disco Mor in Orangi Town, a citizen was seriously injured by a robber’s firing and later died. While fleeing after the murder, one of the robbers was shot dead by a citizen, but the other accomplice managed to escape.
The police recovered a pistol and a motorcycle from the scene. The deceased citizen has been identified as 20-year-old Abid, while the killed suspect has been identified as Muhammad Adnan Ali.
The shop owner told police that the deceased, Abid, was a resident of Bahar Colony in Orangi Town and originally from Nawabshah. He had been employed at the shop 15 days prior to the incident.
The shop owner, Firdous, stated that Abid was taken to Abbasi Hospital in an injured condition but was not provided any medical assistance. He lay at the hospital for a long time without anyone attending to him and eventually died due to lack of medical care.
Police stated that the suspect killed by the shopkeeper’s firing in Orangi Town has been identified and was also a resident of Orangi Town. His criminal record is being checked.
