In another shocking incident in Lahore, two men were involved in the gang rape of a young boy, while also recording the crime. The incident occurred in the Shafiqabad area of the provincial capital on August 13, according to police reports.
The suspects, identified as Abdul Rehman and Ali Haider, allegedly assaulted the victim at gunpoint. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against them under Sections 336, 337, 356b, and 506 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
The police further stated that Rehman and Haider recorded the assault and threatened to release the footage if the boy told anyone about the incident. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr. Anoosh Masood informed the media that the suspects have been apprehended by law enforcement officers.
Earlier this month, a young, mentally challenged girl was brutally raped in Shakargarh, Punjab.
The 11-year-old victim was discovered in a state of shock after the attacker, who had scaled a wall to enter her home, fled the scene.
Medical examinations at the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital confirmed the horrific assault. Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect while investigating the crime.
